Betty Lee Shoemaker, nee Hampton 88, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2011 while surrounded by family at home.
She was born in Amarillo, Texas and lived in Tucson since 1933. She was born August 29, 1923, daughter of the late Thomas Foster Hampton and Wilda Saunders.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, retired Technical Sergeant Gerald Shoemaker and brother, Thomas (Bud) Hampton.
She is survived by sons, Tom (Loretta) Patten of Welton, AZ, Robert Keith Jones and George (Tina) Shoemaker and daughters, Beverly (Albert) Mora and Cheryl Shoemaker; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN with interment to follow.
