Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Tuesday, July 24, 2012 Priscilla Flores, age 63, passed away on July 10, 2012. She was born in St. Johns, Ariz. on Jan. 17, 1949 to Domingo and Thelma Candelaria. She worked for 25 years as a secretary for the Valley schools. She helped put into law grandparents’ rights in Arizona. Priscilla is preceded in death by her son, Ruben Negrón; her brother, Avery Ochoa; and the love of her life, Ernesto Flores. She raised her three granddaughters, Yvonne (Joe), Deanna, and Sophia (Levi). She leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Bernadette, Amber, Michael, Donavan, and Jamie; her brothers, Domingo Candelaria (Amalia), Frank Candelaria (Katrina), and Alan Ochoa (Allie); her sisters, Virginia Powell (Chuck), Carla Gahm, Fela (Doug) Music, and Yvonne Davies (Marvin); and her mother, Thelma Ochoa; as well as countless aunts, one uncle, and cousins. Love of family was central to Priscilla. Her generosity, kind spirit, and love of God will not be forgotten. Priscilla’s time was short and she will be missed by all those who loved her. Visitation and funeral were held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Samaritan Funeral Home, 1505 McDowell Road, in Phoenix, Ariz.
