GRISWOLD, Brenda Sue

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Tuesday, July 24, 2012 Brenda Sue Griswold, formerly of Globe, Ariz., age 67, passed on July 14, 2012, surrounded by her family in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on Dec. 15, 1944 in Miami, Okla. to Fred Milton Cole and Audrey Lorene Cole. She married James Edmund Griswold on June 23, 1962. Brenda spent most of her early life as a mother and homemaker. She later returned to school and returned to work as a homecare nurse, which she loved. Brenda enjoyed her ladies clubs like the Red Hatters and TOPS. But most of all, she enjoyed being surrounded by her grandchildren and spent the last three years of her life living with them. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Allison May, Bridgette Pearson, Stacy Jorgensen; and her son, James Griswold. Beloved grandchildren include Lauren, Claudia and Penelope May; Colton, Tucker and Heyden Pearson; Kelsie Mullins and Hannah, Jonas, Maren and Esme Jorgensen; and Jasper Griswold. She is also survived by her dear sister, Betty Dawson; and her brother, Wayne Cole. Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Shawn Griswold; her husband, James Edmund Griswold; and her parents, Fred Milton Cole and Audrey Lorene Cole. Graveside services were held on Monday, July 16, 2012 in Sandy, Utah.
