MARSHALL, JoAnne

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona JoAnne Marshall (November 22, 1952 ~ July 21, 2012) JoAnne Marshall, 59, died peacefully in her sleep on July 21, 2012 with her family by her side in Flagstaff, Arizona. JoAnne was born in Long Beach, California on November 22, 1952 to Leonard and Marian Hyman. She was married to Steve Marshall whom she met in Jerome, where they attended high school together. They have two daughters, Laura and Amy, and also have two granddaughters, Liya and Ivy. JoAnne was a speech pathologist, and successfully started Northland Speech and Hearing Associates which helped to provide numerous services to much of Northern Arizona including parts the Navajo and Hopi reservations. Her interests include boating, hiking, arts, nature and anything she could do on her patio overlooking the lake. She was a devoted spouse, mother and most importantly, in her eyes, a grandmother. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 28, at the Fiesta Inn in Tempe, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, condolences may be sent to PO Box, 18105. Munds Park, Az. 86017
