Vivian Chun Hilker, 79, of Sedona Arizona died Thursday July 26, 2012.
Vivian was born October 20, 1932 in Hawaii, moved to Illinois to attend college in her 20's and spent her career as an occupational therapist, primarily in Pennsylvania while raising her family.
Since retiring she has lived in Arkansas, Virginia and for the last 13 years in Sedona, Arizona. Vivian was a very spiritual person who loved family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, and learning new things. In more recent years she took up bridge and golf.
Vivian is survived by 3 sons; Scott, Wayne (Kim), and Donn (Sherry), 6 grandchildren; Melissa, Matt, Alex, Tom, Trevor and Kaiya and one great grandchild Makaio. She is also survived by sisters Lillian and Barbara and brothers Phil and Gene. She was predeceased by and is now reunited with her best friend and loving husband Emerson Wallace Hilker.
Vivian repeated often "You are Love and you are Loved" and she reminded us to be grateful.
Celebration of her life will be held at the Sedona United Methodist Church on Friday, August 10, 2012 @ 6:30PM.
