VALLEJOS, Robert L.

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Robert Vallejos (August 15, 1956 ~ August 5, 2012) Robert L. Vallejos, Born August 15, 1956, went to rest on Sunday August 5, 2012. Robert is survived by his ex-wife and companion for the last 14 years, Iona and his sisters Linda Saiz and Teresa Vallejos both of Phoenix. In his last few years of his life he found several relatives from his paternal side. His biological father was Ernesto Vigil and Robert found out he had so many loving and caring relatives whom he got to know and interact with. He also found a brother and sister in New Mexico, Alex Vigil and his family and his sister Ilene. He visited and called them many times after he found them. Robert always had to keep busy. He worked for the Labors Union, La Pasada, and wherever he had to to keep busy. He loved the casino (he was a sore loser, though) and fishing. The whole reason of his being was his love for his grand kids. Robert never had children, but Iona’s grandkids were his grandkids. He loved them unconditional and they loved him. Up until his last breath he waited for his beloved Elena “Little Paul”, and “Little Iona”. He asked and cried for them everyday. He waited as long as he could, but finally had to go, but he wanted me to let them know how much he loved them. Robert was thankful for hospice and their care. Arrangements are under the direction of Norvel Owens Mortuary. Holy Rosary will be 9:30 at Madre de Dios on Friday, August 10, 2012 with Mass following at 10am. Interment will conclude services at Desert View Cemetery.
