COOK, Joan (Cookie)

Services for Joan "Cookie" Cook, 69, of Gilbert, were at Meldrum Mortuary & Chapel, 52 N. Macdonald Dr. in Mesa. She died Friday, Sept. 29, 1989, at Mesa General Hospital. Mrs. Cook was born in Boscawen, NH, and moved to Arizona in 1970. She was employed by Mesa General Hospital and Medical Center for 12 years before she retired and became self-employed. Surviving are her sons, Charles Krauz, Jr., of Leicester, NC, Ronald Krauz of Plymouth, NH, and SSgt Daniel Krauz of Cherry Point Marine Base, NC; daughters, Karen Brookland of Ashville, NC, and Susan Bernal of Gilbert; sisters Teresa Angwin of Hopkington, NH, Helen Spain of Augusta, GA, and Anita Stolte and Florence Cantara, both of Panacook, NH; brothers, Leon Vezina of Hooksett, NH, Al Vezina of Meridith, NH, and Mike Vezina of Penacook, NH; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
