WALLACE, Juanita

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ February, 2004 Juanita Morehead Wallace, 91, of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 19, 2004. She was born November 30, 1912 in Columbus, Kansas. She moved to Mesa, Arizona when she was 15 years old and has been a lifetime member of Central Christian Church of Mesa. She is preceded in death by her sister, Leota (Robert) Stapley and brother, Robert Septer. The beloved Juanita is survived by her husband of 65 years. G.E. "Buck" Wallace; children, Lawrence Archie (Carolyn) Lobb and Wanda (Chuck) Thompson; grandchildren, Richard (Kristi) Carpenter, Russell (Kristyn) Shumway, Steven Thompson, Sheryl (Curt) Stradling and David Lobb; and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at 1:00 P.M., Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, please send any memorial contributions to the Sunshine Acres Children's Home, 3405 N. Higley Rd., Mesa, AZ 85215. Mrs. Wallace, was a long time friend, and supporter of Mrs. Vera Dingman, founder of Sunshine Acres.
