SLADE, Rita Marie

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/10/2012 Rita Marie Slade, 72, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at her home in Eagar. She was born July 24, 1940, in Rushville, Neb., the daughter of Russell Hubert and Marie Katherine Horalek Rose. Rita was a cook for White Mountain Regional Medical Center. She loved working with horses and was famous for her biscuits and gravy at the hospital before retiring. She is survived by her son, Doug Slade of Eagar; sisters: Sandy Cousins of Okla.; Pat Wright of Kansas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
