West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, August 10, 2012 Joe V. Villa, 70, of Buckeye died Aug. 7, 2012, from complications of myelodysplastic syndromes. Mr. Villa was born in May 4, 1942, in Buckeye to Richard and Lupe Villa. He was retired and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye. He was a coach for the Westside Recreation Program for eight years. He is survived by his wife, Pat; one son, Joe Villa Jr.; two daughters, Pamela and Sylvia; five sisters, Daisy Ramon, Lydia Olivas, Susie Uballe, Roberta Earp and Teresa DueƱas; four brothers, Richard, Tufo, Benny and Manuel; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at St. Henry Catholic Church, 128 S. Third St. in Buckeye, with a rosary recital at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow at Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye. The Rev. William Kosco will officiate. Funeral arrangements were made by Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale.
