TOUCHSTONE, Barton (Bart) Z.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/14/2012 Barton (Bart) Z. Touchstone of Scottsdale died Aug. 7, 2012. He was born March 8, 1964, in Pensacola, Fla., grew up in San Antonio, Texas and raised his family in the Snowflake and Pinetop area. Bart graduated from Tom C. Clark High School. Bart was a very skilled electrician and project manager but his passion outside of work was spending time with his family, golfing, and snow skiing. He is survived by his wife, Shawn Touchstone; three sons Forrest Touchstone (19), Garrison Touchstone (16), Chandler Touchstone (13), Stepson Ryan Morrison (19); step daughter Mallory Morrison (19); mother Gerry Shaw Maloney; father Ottis (Sandy) Touchstone; brothers: Bryan Touchstone and Bruce Touchstone; step-siblings Shay (David) McGehee, Shelly (Steven) Duncan; the mother of his three children Anne Lang and numerous aunts and uncles. Bart was especially close with his Uncle Ray Shaw, who lives in Boerne, Texas. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Scottsdale Bible Chapel, 7901 E. Shea Blvd. Additionally, a celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake.
