Fyrn Fonk, 77, resident of Eagar died Aug. 8, 2012, at Summit Hospital in Show Low. She was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Climax Springs, Mo. the daughter of Oscar and Mary Wallace Wiseman.
Fyrn was a cashier at Bashas’ in Eagar and Western Drug in Springerville. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her dog Chopper and enjoyed gardening and flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Fonk of Eagar; daughters: Melissa (Steve) Thompson of Tenn., Marilyn Feaster of Mo., and Melinda (Thomas) Noel of Springerville; brothers: Bill Wiseman and Kenny Hillburn; and sister Shirley, all of Missouri; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Fyrn was preceded in death by her mother, sister Juanita and brother Wesley.
Funeral mass was held Monday, Aug. 13, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Springerville.
