Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, July 31, 2012 - Olga Brola passed away July 27, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. She was born in Manhattan, NY to Anna and Paul Nadekow July 4, 1927. Olga and her husband moved to Lake Havasu City from Howells, NY in 1989. She was retired from Middletown State Hospital as a nurse’s assistant in geriatrics. She also graduated from fashion school in Manhattan, NY and was an expert in sewing, knitting and crocheting. Olga also had a passion for cooking and trying new recipes. Olga is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Harold E. Brola; son, George (Suzie) Betuk III, of San Clemente, Calif.; daughter, Eugenie (John) Spratley, of Cathedral City, Calif.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, John, Chanelle and Nicolette and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Cassidy, Brenna and Ryan. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Peter the Aleut Orthodox Mission, 2091 Sandwood Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at St. Peter the Aleut Orthodox Mission at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Olga’s name to St. Peter the Aleut Orthodox Mission, 2091 Sandwood Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.
