Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~ The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, August 16, 2012 Dalton Elias Smith passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 11, 2012. He was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on September 29th, 1994 to Michelle Jones and Kevin Smith. He attended Mountain View Elementary School, Cottonwood Middle School, and New Visions High School where he would have graduated in 2013. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, shooting and other outdoor activities. He was artistic and frequently created poems and recited verses from his favorite artists. Dalton was a person who loved to be with his friends and family and kept himself constantly engaged with his multitude of friends. Dalton was constantly driven by his big heart and compassionate soul. He will be greatly missed. Dalton is survived by his loving parents Kevin and Michelle, his two stepmothers Julie and Katrina, his siblings Raymond, Kayla and Taylor his twin sister, and many other loved ones.
