Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, August 11, 2012 - Dorothy Ryan, 77, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Aug. 7, 2012. She was born Jan. 3, 1935 in Oakland, Calif. After graduating from high school she married Richard Ryan in Long Beach, Calif. Sept. 7, 1956. They were married for fifty-seven years before her passing. They lived in Long Beach for forty-eight years before retiring to Lake Havasu City in 2003. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and number one grandmother. She lived for her family and loved life and all living things. She will be missed and will live forever in our hearts. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Richard, of Lake Havasu City; one son, Michael (Jenaraye) Ryan, of Apple Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Connie (Craig) Ryan-Burns, of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; three grandchildren, Christopher Greene, of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Noah Ryan, of Apple Valley, Calif. and Cheyenne Ryan, of Apple Valley, Calif.; family member, Dorothy (Roy) Militar; Bailey and Kinsey Militar; and dog, Daisy.
