West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, August 14, 2012 Leocadio "Leo" Ortiz, 80, of Phoenix and formerly of Tolleson died Aug. 9, 2012. Mr. Ortiz was born June 5, 1932, to Alberto and Fructuosa in Fabens, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Bertha; one son, Leo Jr.; three daughters, Mary Lou, Maria Teresa and Veronica; two brothers, Roman and Fortino; one sister, Amelia; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recital at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington St. in Phoenix. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road in Avondale.
