Quinten Roosevelt Huber, 85, died in his sleep Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012. He was born June 13, 1927 in New Athens, Illinois.
Before moving to Arizona in 1974 he was employed by Meyer Oldsmobile and after moving to Glendale in 1974, he was employed by Phoenix Motors until he retired at the age of 65.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Huber and mother Olga (Voges) Huber and many other relatives.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (File) Huber; son, Dennis L. Huber; grandson, Lance Huber, both of Peoria; granddaughter Jamie Eckhardt; two great-grandchildren: Katrina and Conrad; sister Velma Cassady of Mo.; brother Alfred Huber of Freeburg, Ill. and many other relatives living in Illinois.
Quinten was a member of the Show Low Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Family and friends are invited to memorial services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Kingdom Hall, 201 E. Whipple in Show Low. Fred Howe a Minister of the Show Low Christian Congregation will conduct Quinten’s memorial.
