BANDA, Atha Christean (Nan)

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from August 16 to August 23, 2012 - Atha Christean "Nan" Banda, age 87, a 5-year resident of Golden Valley, Ariz., went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 13, 2012. Atha was born June 17, 1925, in Naylor, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac E. Banda, and son, Gary D. Banda. Atha is survived by daughter, Janet Martin; son, Larry Banda; eight grandchildren, Wendy Johnson, Larry Banda Jr, Angelic Watkins, Jennifer Crartty, Francesca O'Connor, Chris Martin, Aaron Martin and Jason Martin; blessed with 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and MANY who loved her. There are no words to express our loss. Services to "Celebrate her Life" will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012, at the Chapel at Desert Lawn, 9250 South Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz. Following services, a gathering will be held at 1409 Camino Oro, Fort Mohave, Ariz. "Until We Meet Again, Nan."
