Ralph Martin, age 64, a 15-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., lost his battle with kidney disease and diabetes on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Bullhead City. He was born December 7, 1947, in Monterey, Calif.
Ralph worked as a custodian at Mohave High School in Bullhead City prior to becoming ill in March, 2008. Everyday he loved his job and the people surrounding it! He enjoyed a good laugh and was never, ever afraid or embarrassed to shed some tears.
Ralph enjoyed a good game of Uno, he always won. Now he knows how. He loved fishing, and as long as we can remember, he always wanted to grow old and have a cabin in the mountains - That was his dream... it never changed!
Ralph loved his family very much and wanted more than anything for people to be happy.
A wonderful father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and brother-in-law, has joined our heavenly Father. Ralph is loved by so many, and will be greatly missed forever - "We love you Dad!"
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of nearly 38 years, Barbara Martin; daughter, Shawnda (Nick) Luke; brother, Rick Martin; sister, Betty Martin; brother-in-law, John Horton; sister-in-law, Felicia Horton; sister-in-law Benita Martin; two grandchildren, Logan Luke and Chelsea Luke; two nephews, Jr Horton and Donald Horton; and so many more.
"Rest in Peace, Dad". We hope you finally have your "Cabin in Heaven."
Burial will be in California at a later date.
