Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from August 13 to August 20, 2012 - June Marie Oakley, age 85, a 10-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012, in Bullhead City, Ariz. June was born February 13, 1927, in Winthrop, Mass. June spent her youth in the Boston area, and then married and started her family. June moved to Southern California in 1954, and then moved to Ventura, Calif. in 1990, where she raised her family. June was employed by State Fund in Ventura, Calif. for 10 years before retiring to Bullhead City, Ariz. with her husband Robert. She had a love for ice skating, dancing, karaoke, keno and her family. June is survived by her husband of 10 years, Robert Oakley; ten children; Corrine Walson of Temecula, Calif., Paula Halverson of Fallbrook, Calif., Donna Haliburton of Costa Mesa, Calif., Mark Ready of Hemet, Calif., John Ready of Costa Mesa, Calif., Debbie Ready of Costa Mesa, Calif., Cathi Smith of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Marianne Corns of Piercellville, Va., Timothy Ready of Temecula, Calif., Patrick Ready of Rainbow, Calif.; step-daughter, Debbie Fox of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Donald Sutherland of Calif.; sister, Shirley Battis of Fla.; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, Ariz. Burial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Eternal Hills in Oceanside, Calif.
