RATAJSKI, Dorothy Marie

Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, Scottsdale, Arizona Dorothy Marie Ratajski 77 our beloved mother, sister, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend passed peacefully into glory July 14, 2012. Born June 7, 1935 in Chicago, IL, Dorothy was a beautiful and strong woman of great perseverance and marvelous sense of humor; which enabled her to endure a lifelong battle with Asthma. She moved to Arizona in 1953 to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. She is preceded in death by her faithful, gentle and brave husband Lt. Col. Charles (Carl) J Ratajski. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her sisters Norine Tone and Jeannine Dougherty, her children Christine Fowler (Phil), Michael Sharp (Karen), Cathleen Smith (Randy), Stepsons, David Ratajski (Holly) and Brad Ratajski (Chris), 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Arrangements provided by Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary 6500 E Bell Road, Scottsdale AZ 85254. Services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 11300 N 64th St. Scottsdale.
