RAYMOND, Daniel James


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, September 2010 Daniel James Raymond born July 9th, 1923, at Piepot, Saskatchewan, Canada passed away at age of 87 on September 14th, 2010. He was preceded in death by his Father George LeRoy, Mother Acco, Sister Arleta and wife Bernadene whom he married in Sept. 1963. Dan is survived by four children, Ronald Raymond, Gary Raymond, Linda Anderson and Aaron Raymond, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dan was a lifetime member of The Odd Fellows and a Veteran of WW ll. He moved to Arizona as a Marine and was an aircraft mechanic. Then ran the Weiler's dairy farm in south Phoenix and then worked for the City of Phoenix. Moving to Payson, he opened an upholstery & drapery shop then retired in Mesa. He requested that there not be a memorial service and his body was donated to Science Care. The family sends their sincerest thanks to Hospice of the Valley, Westley and the staff at Westhaven, the staff at Grand Court, and Nicole and everyone at Biltmore Assisted Living.
