Ervin Frank Scholz, 94, of Mesa and formerly of Lake Havasu City, passed away Aug. 17, 2012.  Ervin was born in St. Francis, Minn., March 5, 1918.

Ervin is predeceased by his wife, Rite Amelia; and is survived locally by his daughter, Rita Anne, of Mesa.  Ervin had four children, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa, Wednesday, at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Freeport, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Angleman Syndrome Foundation Inc., 4255 Westbrook Drive, Ste. 219, Aurora, IL 60504.
