BRAIN, Leonard (Lenny)

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Leonard Brain (May 4, 1930 - August 18, 2012) Leonard Brain. 82 of Flagstaff passed away August 18. 2012 after a brief illness. Lenny will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, hard work and his devotion to Wanaque Volunteer Fire Department Company #1, in New Jersey. Lenny was born in Paterson, NJ May 4, 1930. After serving active combat service in Korea, he worked as a dye mixer at Allied Textile in Paterson, then for the Wanaque Water Department. In 1958, he met his wife Blanche Nespor, and they raised three children. The family moved to Flagstaff in 1978, and Lenny worked as a prurnoer in Flagstaff Unified School District until his retirement. Lenny is survived by his wife, son Keith (Gwen), daughters Kimberly (Trevan) Woolbright and Kathleen Rogers, Grandchildren Alicia, Michael, Morgan, Brittany, Andre, Dustine and 5 great grandchildren. A private service will take place at a later date in New Jersey
