Kenneth Michael Vance, 25, of Prescott, Ariz., departed this life Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in Prescott. He was born July 16, 1987, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Kenny was a full-time student at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz., with studies in Computer Information Systems and worked part-time for his parents at their restaurant.
Kenny had a very caring and kind-hearted soul. He adored all of his younger cousins, and had a very special relationship with his grandparents.
He lived life loud and large. He was always having a good time and loved to make people laugh with his impressions and movie quotes.
He was a thrill seeker with a passion for Motocross and fast cars. Give him a cliff or bridge and he would jump. He earned his nickname of "Kilovolt."
He loved everything outdoors; fishing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, quad and horseback riding. Vacations always included the ocean. Caribbean cruises and Mexico trips had to involve Jet Skis, snorkeling, swimming and deep sea fishing.
Kenny is survived by his parents Denise and Lyndon Edmonson and Steve Vance; grandparents Frank and Helen LaFleur, Karen and Jay Smith, Neil and Linda Vance, and Barbara Edmonson.
A Celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Prescott Community Church 3151 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Ariz.
