Mary Elena Sanchez, 69, resident of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Mary was born June 27, 1937 to Luis and Consuelo (Robles) Quesada in Jerome, Arizona, where she grew up and graduated from the local High School. Following High School, she went on to college and obtained her education as a Counselor. Mary enjoyed gardening, and she deeply loved her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Engel P. Rodriguez. She leaves behind their four sons, Steven Rodriquez of Kingman, Ariz., Lawrence Rodriquez, wife, Tanya of Tucson, Ariz., Jarold Rodriguez, wife, Elsie of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Angel R. Rodriguez, wife, Sofia of Cottonwood, Ariz.; four daughters, Patricia J. Rodriguez of Cottonwood, Ariz., Debra Abari of Cottonwood, Ariz., Victoria Rodriguez of Clarkdale, Ariz., and Catherine Dominguez of Cottonwood, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 11:30am at Westcott Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Ariz..
