Betty Gay Sweetland-Patterson, 88, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on June 07, 1924 in Wichita, Kansas to Gay and Lois (Weber) Brokaw.

Betty was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Friend. She served as a WAC in the Air Force where she met and married our Father, John Sweetland. She was an accomplished artist and a prominent business owner. She enjoyed designing clothing and she survived dance and music lessons as well as sports events with her children. Betty was always a great strength to her family and her friends. She was and will always be
loved and honored. 

She is survived by her three children, Ronette Warren, Cheri Tyler and Michael Sweetland, 20 grandchildren and Donald Whorf, a wonderful companion. 

She will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
