Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Donna Bartos Tinnell (June 10, 1954 ~ August 21, 2012) Donna Bartos Tinnell, 58, passed away August 21, 2012, in Flagstaff, Ariz. A longtime resident of Southern California, she was born in Richmond, Va. to Joseph and Mildred Bartos on June 10, 1954. Donna graduated from West Point High School in West Point, Va. in 1972. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Tyler Tinnell of Orange, Calif. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Dobson of Phoenix; sons, Russ Tinnell of Placentia, Calif. and Zach Tinnell of Virginia Beach, Va.; one grandson, Ricky Dobson Jr.; sister, Carolyn Alford of Richmond, brothers Joseph Bartos of West Point and Tim Bartos of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews. Donna will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Donna requested cremation and burial to be at sea in the future. Donations in lieu of flowers will help the family pay for funeral expenses.
