West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, August 24, 2012 Jose S. Alvarado, 62, of Tolleson died Aug. 21, 2012. Mr. Alvarado was born Nov. 22, 1949, in Caseta, Chihuahua. He moved to Arizona 35 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Veronica Flores; one daughter, Norma Alvarado; one son, Danny Alvarado; one sister, Vicki Serrano; two brothers, Ventura and Vicente Alvarado; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. today, with a service at 3:30 p.m. at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale.
