West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, August 24, 2012 Geanne "The Snow Cone Lady" Medrano, 61, of Tolleson died Aug. 21, 2012, in Goodyear. Ms. Medrano was born Sept. 1, 1950. She is survived by her mother, Mary B. Hernandez; two sons, Reyes Medrano and Juan Medrano; two brothers, Paul Alvarez and Greg Alvarez; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 28, with a funeral Mass celebration at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. Funeral arrangements were made by Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home in Tolleson.
