Seattle (WA) Times Sunday, July 29, 2012 Tom passed away peacefully at 65, on 7-10-12, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom is survived by his father Frederick Page of Wickenburg, AZ, his sisters, Barbara Weston, Tacoma, Bonnie Bailey, Seattle and Shirley Smart, Bremerton. Please sign his guest book at Howden-Kennedy.com. ~~~~~~~ Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home, Seattle, Washington Thomas Harvey Page (July 13, 1945 - July 10, 2012) Tom passed away peacefully, at age 65, in University Place, WA on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, just 3 days before his 66th birthday. He contracted an aggressive cancer of the throat and mouth, and put up a courageous battle for 9 months to try and beat this disease. Tom is the only son of Frederick Page, and Ellen (Wood) Page (deceased in 1997). Tom is survived by his father, Frederick T Page of Wickenburg, AZ, his sisters Barbara Weston, of Tacoma, WA, Bonita Bailey of Seattle, WA, and Shirley Smart of Bremerton, WA. Plus 3 nieces, Brenda Bengston ,Meridian, ID, Belinda Bailey, Duvall, WA and Janel Smart, Bremerton, WA and 3 nephews, Robert Weston, Tacoma, WA, Donald Laird, Hooper, UT and David Smart, Everett, WA. Tom was a quiet and sweet man. He liked collecting unusual gadgets and household goods. Tom was unmarried. He was born and raised in Seattle, WA. He lived in Tacoma since the late 1980s. He attended school in West Seattle and Kent, WA. Tom worked for several years of his life, but was hampered by disabilities. He managed to take care of himself for most of his life and was fiercely independent. The family acknowledges with gratitude the kind and sensitive care given to Tom by Park Rose Care Center and Franciscan Hospice House, both of Tacoma WA. No services will be held at this time.
