She was born October 7, 1919 in Woodlake, Cherry County, Nebraska. She was a retired certified public accountant. She has lived in Arizona 15 years, coming from Nevada. She leaves her husband, Archibald P. Simmons; a daughter, Dixie Lee Carter, Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, William Dennis Steele, Reno, Nev.; a step-daughter, Irene Gail Simmons of Laverne, Calif.; two step-sons Roy Scott Simmons, Hawaii and Thomas Lee Simmons, Fullerton, Calif.; a brother, Newton Ferguson, Vista, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Younger, Longview, Tx. and Nell Barton, Andrew, Tx.; a brother-in-law, Jack Simmons, Longview, Tx.; a grandson, Tony Steel, Atlanta, Ga.; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
