SMITH, Glenn Weber


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/04/2012 Glenn Weber Smith, 92, of Lakeside died Aug. 17, 2012. He was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Logan County, Ohio to Harry and Edith Smith. Glenn was a very godly man who never met a stranger. He loved his family, friends and church. He was much loved in return. He farmed in Ohio for more than 40 years, and was as a WWII Navy veteran. He is survived by his three sons: Glenn Kenneth (Linda) of Casa Grande, Dwayne Lee (Susan) of Lakeside, and Jerry Ray (Sue) of Crocker, Mo. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one brother, Joe from Sun Lakes. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ruby, one brother and two sisters. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at White Mountain Bible Church on Show Low Lake Road.
