Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, September 05, 2012 DANIEL EUGENE MOORE 1961-2012 Dan Moore died suddenly en route to Williams, AZ to visit a friend. He had been staying with his parents, in California, while recuperating from an illness. Dan was born October 10, 1961 in Boulder, CO and never lost his love of the mountains. He was a long time resident of Northern Arizona, working as a General Superintendent for Straightline and Loven Construction Companies. He is survived by his parents, Milt and Coleen Moore of Carlsbad, CA; a brother, Kelly Moore, St. Augustine, FL, his ex-wife, Cherise Dickison Moore of Rimrock, AZ, Jon Risser and Elisha Golliher of Adams, TN , Ellis Miller of Cortez, CO and Bill and Lois Rutledge of Grand Junction, CO Those who knew Dan well, know that he would never be in favor of formal services held indoors with his friends dressed for the occasion. Instead, the best would be to remember him doing something he loved: playing with his dog, listening to music, driving his Shelby, hunting or fishing. His ashes will be scattered on Rabbit Ears Pass in Colorado. A private outdoor memorial service is planned near Williams, AZ He will never have to deal with pain again, and his family takes solace in that fact.
