A longtime resident of Kingman, Patricia Ann Gillman (Pat), passed away Sunday afternoon, Aug. 26, 2012, at the age of 77. She was born April 13, 1935, in Tacoma, Wash.
Pat leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Verne Gillman. They met on a blind date in Bremerton, Wash., in 1953 where Verne was stationed while serving in the U.S. Navy. She followed him to Southern California where they married and raised their four children. They lived a full life together, leaving their ranch in Temecula, Calif., in 1982 to come to Kingman, where they opened Discount Plumbing and Electric, which they owned and operated together for thirteen years.
Pat is survived by her children, Deborah Murchison (Frank), Bonnie Ridl, David Gillman (Karla) and Toni Alexander (Glenn), all of Kingman. She is also survived by her brother, Wil Sepetoski (Gwen) of Gryon, Switzerland.
She loved dearly and was proud of her nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Pat enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, knitting and bingo, but mostly she loved spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
She was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America (LCFA).
