The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 05, 2012 Rosemary Straub died peacefully in her home on Sept. 3, 2012. Rosemary was born on June 2, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo., to Anthony and Louise Ebert. She attended Catholic grade and high schools and graduated from the St. Louis Business College. Rosemary married Richard Straub in 1967, and they have two daughters, Samantha Roth and Sally Leyva. Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart Church and was active in the establishment of homeless shelters in Birmingham, Ala., and Prescott; and she was active in the Civil Rights Movement. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Samantha Roth and Sally Leyva; sister, Nancy McMahon; brother, Albert Ebert; grandchildren, Emily, Tyler and Alex Roth. A memorial service is pending per Richard Straub. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
