Tyler Jay Solomon, age 17, a 17-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in the Colorado River.
Tyler was born April 3, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nev. He attended Mohave Accelerated Learning Center (MALC). He loved baseball, football, fishing, family and friends. He played Little League, Pop Warner and was on the MALC baseball and football teams.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother, Becky Wilmes; grandfather, Jimmy Hurley; and great-grandmother, Ruth Batts.
He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Jason Solomon; brother, Brandon (Jessica) Strecker; two sisters, Shukria (Aaron) Pettie and Castonia Moye; grandmother, Nancy Casey; five nephews and nieces, Alex, Bailey, Addison, Audrey and Armaris; many cousins including Kyra, Emmlynn, Ryan, Amanda, Tina; and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Don Sullivan Park. Bring chairs or blankets, seating is limited. Everyone is welcome.
Arrangements are under the care of Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley, Ariz.
