Darla Aday, 34, of Whiteriver died unexpectedly Sept. 3, 2012 in Mesa. She was born April 21, 1978, in Phoenix to Randall Aday and Darlene Zagotah.
Darla loved to play basketball and write in her journal. She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Tyshawn Goclanney; parents Ernest and Darlene Zahgotah; father Randall Aday; sister Tammy Bitsui; brothers: Eric Thomas and Mike Clawson; grandparents: Tim and Costa Clawson; grandmother Fannie Cruz; godmother Ophella Robertson; aunts: Carleen Clawson, Marjorie Quade, Vangie Nantan, Beverly Aday, Eunice Massey and Marie Aday; uncles Tim Clawson Jr, Ardell Clawson, Gibson Aday, Sylvester Aday and Lee Aday, four nieces, four nephews, many cousins, relatives and friends.
A wake was held in her honor Sept. 8 at the community of Over the Rainbow, house #809 in Whiteriver. Funeral services were held on Sept. 9, at the North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver and interment followed at the R-14 Crossing Cemetery in Cedar Creek.
