Dick BeBie died peacefully in the arms of his Lord at his home in Lake Havasu City on the night of Sept. 6, 2012 at the age of 83.

Dick was born on Nov. 7, 1928 in Sioux County, Iowa to Cornelius and Jannegie (van Hofwegan) DeBie. He was the 12th of 13 hardworking dairy farmers. He was a plumber by trade until retiring and moving to Lake Havasu City with his loving wife Anita in Feb. 1991. Upon moving to Lake Havasu, Dick began working for the Mohave School District for 10 years until retiring once again.

Dick was a fun loving man who enjoyed going to church, reading Louis L’Amour, watching John Wayne westerns and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anita Louise; his daughters, Kathleen and Kary; his beloved grandchildren, Heather, Travis, Kristine, Kyle and Wendsday and great granddaughter Gerri.

At the request of Mr. DeBie, no memorial service will take place, but he will be forever in our hearts.
