Milton Amie Bossie, Sr., age 81, passed away at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, Ariz., on Sep. 1.
Milton was born Aug. 27, 1931 in Topsham, Maine. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1951 and enlisted in the Navy upon graduation.
He proudly served this country aboard the USS Hugh Purvis (DD-709) from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict. Milton lived here in Wickenburg for approximately 12 years and was frequently seen walking his two dogs, Ma Barker and Nitro, picking up lunch from McDonalds. Recently, he resided at Horizons II Adult Home in Peoria, where he received much loving care and attention while dealing with health issues. He will be sorely missed, as he was a gentle man who loved people, children and animals equally.
He is survived by son Milton, Jr., who lives in Bullhead City, Ariz.
