Robinson Caddo
(November 28, 1938 - September 9, 2012)
On Sunday, September 9, 2012 our world was shattered as someone so special to us, Mr. Robinson Caddo, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father. Robinson was 73 years old, born on November 28, 1938.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, relative and friend.
Robinson was a hard worker, always working to provide for the family he loved so much. He always made sure his family had food and shelter and made every effort to meet their needs. He contributed many years of services to various employments such as the saw mill in Cibecue, Corrizo and Whiteriver. He also provided labor work to the White Mountain Apache Tribal Housing Authority and Arrowhead Construction of Snowflake. Two other positions he held were a security guard at the Cibecue Commercial Center and as a Fire Fighter at the Tribal Forestry.
Robinson always took pride in the hard work he contributed.
Our beloved Robinson was a true Cowboy at heart, a humble cowboy he was. In his younger days, he enjoyed being a cowboy. He worked with various associations and rode the western trails and tough terrains of Oak Creek, Grasshopper, Madison, Cibecue and also 5/ and x4 of Globe. Whether it was for work or pleasure, he loved riding horses. His horses, branded RC, were his best friends.
In his fee time, Robinson enjoyed visiting with friends, with his grand children and great grandchildren. He and his great grandsons Cody, Kenijae and Tyjae enjoyed singing Apache songs together. Each year, Robinson enjoyed tending to his cornfield, where crops of corn, squash and sugar cane were grown. The process of barbecuing corn was a fun time of the year for the Caddo Family. On a good, bright and sunny day, Robinson loved to take his family for joy rides to admire the beauty of God's Forestry.
The loved ones left behind by Robinson Caddo include his wife of 52 years, Bernice Dale Caddo; Four sons, Glendale Caddo, Lambert Caddo, Harrison Caddo and Dale Caddo; two daughters; Elvira Thomas and Elveria Early; Seven grandchildren and eight great grand children. The days ahead will never be the same but the memories of Robinson and the love and pride he had for his family will forever remain in their hearts. Prayers for the Caddo family are appreciated.
The wake for Robinson began on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at his residence, 702 South Cibecue Rd. in Cibecue, Arizona. There will be a home funeral service on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the family plot at the Sunny Side Cemetery in Cibecue Arizona.
