DELP, Donald Edward (Don)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 Donald Edward Delp July 3, 1925 - September 9, 2012 Don was born in Dayton, Ohio, to Walter and Ruth Delp on July 3, 1925. He passed away Sept. 9, 2012. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy. He married Glenna Norris and began his studies in pharmacy at Ohio Northern University. In 1959, he and Glenna moved to Prescott, Ariz., with their four children. Don was a pharmacist at Rohrer-Bloom drugstore for over 25 years. Don was a long time member of Prescott United Methodist Church. He enjoyed remodeling his home, traveling and bowling. Glenna preceded him in death in 2000, and his daughter Kaye Prevette preceded him in 2011. He is survived by sons, Kenneth (Norma) of Tempe and John (Verna) of Tucson; daughter Jayne (Rockey) Krumbholz of Prescott; and son-in-law Tad Prevette of Azle, Texas; his grandchildren, Kendolyn (Thad) Rummage, Zebulon (Alyson) Delp, Laura (Dan) Benton, T.J. (Sarah) Prevette and Renee (Danny) Ibarra; his great grandchildren, J.T., Jadon and Jed Rummage, Caiden, Cooper, Brenton and Blakeleigh Delp, Darren, Dillon, Alissa, Andrew and Simone Benton and Ian Ibarra. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Priest of Kettering, Ohio; his brother Owen Delp of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and his long-time friend Terry Spivey of Prescott. Visitation will be at Hampton Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W.
