BURNHAM, Robert Clark


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, September 13, 2012 Robert Clark Burnham, born Aug. 29, 1922, in Woods Cross, Utah, to Theo and Ivy Burnham, died on Sept. 11, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz. Robert began a career in the Air Force and served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was married to Faye Emily Richardson for 53 years until her death in 1998. He retired from the Air Force in 1968, and settled in Prescott Valley. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service and the Postal Service. Robert is survived by his children, Janet Kanehara of Vancouver, B.C., Canada; Jean Hubbard of Pine Bluff, Ark.; Kathy Burnham, Robert R. Burnham, and Joan Burnham of Prescott Valley, Ariz. He is also survived by his sisters, Violet Hooker, Viola Hinkle and Norma Manning; and his grandchildren, Michael Wolfe of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert Wolfe of Ft. Carson, Colo. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Sunrise Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
