West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, September 14, 2012 Carmela Elizabeth Giugno, 75, of Goodyear died Sept. 9, 2012. Mrs. Giugno was born May 3, 1937, in Manhattan, N.Y., to Vito and Pasqua Farella. She moved to Arizona in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alfred Giugno; three daughters, Angela Petter, Patricia Reynolds and Mary Giugno; one son, Nicholas Giugno; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass celebration will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 10045 W.
