The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, September 15, 2012 Christopher (Chris) Robert Hulse 1938 - 2012 Christopher Hulse, 74, of Pacific Grove, passed away at home on Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was born on March 17, 1938 in Seattle, Wash., to Frederick Seymour Hulse and Leonie Robinson Mills. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Phyllis), of Eugene, Ore.; his three daughters, Lise (Saturnin) of Calif., Eva (Tom) of New York, and Kate (Myles) of Calif., and his three grandsons, Robert, Wyatt, and Arlo. Chris was an enthusiastic explorer of the world, an avid naturalist, a gifted artist, and a talented chef. Food and photography were his passions. He loved his garden and walking with his longtime canine companion, Roxie. A private memorial was held on Saturday, Sept. 15.
