The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, September 15, 2012 Dorothy Lillian Kash Reece, 95, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Sept. 9, 2012. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Richard; her sons, Richard (Conni) and Chris (Cathy); five grandchildren; and an increasing number of great-grandchildren. Dorothy, born in Jackson, Ky., was a published poet and Christian author. She and her husband moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 1959, where they lived and worked for 21 years. Dorothy worked in the administrative offices of Prescott High School as office manager for several principals. She and her husband attended First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tampa, Fla., and were founding members of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Prescott and Foothills Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Glendale, Ariz. Dorothy was a loving example of a Christian woman and a compassionate friend. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Foothills Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 3951 W. Happy Valley Road, Glendale, AZ 85310. A reception will follow the service at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Information provided by survivors.
