Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona ALIK ANDREW NELSON (July 9, 1996 - September 14, 2012) Alik Andrew Nelson went to be with Heavenly Father on September 14, 2012. He was born to Terry Alvin Nelson and Debie Lynn Nelson on July 9, 1996 in Snowflake and lived there all of his 16 years. Alik had a sweet spirit and kind heart. His smiling face and positive outlook affected all those around him. He was a highly achieved baseball player and enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially bull riding and camping. He was active in the Civil Air Patrol program. He had recently discovered a passion for performing arts and was excited to participate in the Statehood production as Key-no-toe. His talents were numerous and he was activeley developing them. He loved his family. He will be greatly missed and his memories will be cherished forever. Alik is survived by his parents Terry Nelson and Debie Nelson. Sister Angela Teachout, brother-in-law Curtis Teachout, nephews Wiley, Brayden Carter, Kalem and Tyce and nieces Avery, Sadie and baby Lux. Sister: Amber Burke and brother-in-law Jonathan Burke, and nephew James. Sister: Amanda Bushman and brother-in-law Gregg Bushman. Sisters: Aliesha, Sariah, Maria, Angelina and Lori Nelson. Grandmothers Donna Cooper and Emily Nelson. Grandfather Alvin Nelson. And many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alik is preceded in death by his Brother: William J. Nelson and Grandfather Jerry B. Cooper. Services were held on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Snowflake, Arizona LDS Stake Center. Interment took place at the Mike Ramsey Memorial Cemetery, Snowflake Arizona.
