West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, September 21, 2012 Aurelio R. Ortega, 66, of Buckeye died Sept. 17, 2012. Mr. Ortega was born Nov. 30, 1945, in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Jesus and Agripina Ortega. He moved to Arizona in 2007 from California. He was a retired cabinet carpenter, and a member of the Guadalupanos at St. Henry Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elmy Ortega; two daughters, Lynn and Maribel; four sisters, Teresa, Guadalupe, Socorro and Romelia; four brothers, Javier, Jesus, Salvador and Lucio; and two grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. William Catholic Church, 11018 W. Third St. in Avondale. Burial will immediately follow at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W.
