Copper Basin News Hayden, Az. 19 Sept. 2012 Steve G. Lopez, 53, passed away on Fri., Sept. 14, 2012 in Tucson, AZ. Born on October 21, 1958, in Superior, AZ. He was the son of the late Joe and Helen Lopez. Steve touched countless people with his music, friendship and love. He is survived by his wife, Conchita (Connie), who enjoyed 34 years of marriage together. He has three sons, Stevie Jr., Jimmy, & Eduardo, and 4 grandchildren, Stephanie, Audrina, Ashley, & Jimmy Jr. He is also survived by his sister Yolanda (Yolie) Romero and brother, Joey (Olga) Lopez. Funeral Services for Steve will be held on Saturday, September 22 , 2012 at St. Francis Church of Assisi, on Main St. in Superior. Viewing will be at 8:00 a.m.,Rosary at 9:00 a.m., and Mass at 10:00 a.m. Steve will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements have been made with Superior Funeral Home.
