THOMASSON, Charles Eric

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, September 23, 2012 - Charles Eric Thomasson passed away Aug. 31, 2012 at his residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 49. Eric, as he was known to his family and friends, was born Jan. 7, 1963, in Burbank, Calif., to George and Eleanor (Daub) Thomasson. Eric made Lake Havasu City his home seven years ago. Eric loved to ride his dirt bike and his jet ski and knew only one speed, fast. He also loved to cook and could talk for hours about his latest exploits in the kitchen. He was great with his hands. He could take apart anything, which he did much of as a child, and could even put much of it back together again. Most of all, Eric loved his toy terriers, Julie and Katie. May he rest in the peace he so justly deserved, joyfully reunited with his mother in heaven. Eric is survived by his father, Dr. George R. Thomasson and his wife, Shirley; sister, Janice Sandberg and her husband, Bill; brother, John Thomasson and his wife, Lucy; and nephews Zachary and Samuel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Thomasson; brother, George Thomasson Jr. and his Aunt Mar, who taught him to make monkey bread. Thanks to Ken and Jerry for all their support to Eric over the years. It's much appreciated. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
